60th Anniversary – Celebrating 60 Years of Progress

Held the 4th weekend in July, this is the largest event of the year for our community! Includes a parade, family activities, Food and Craft Vendors, LIVE Music, FREE community picnic and more!

Saturday, July 22

• 9 am: Parade Line-Up Starts in the So-Hi parking lot

• 11 am: Progress Days Parade Starts – Celebrating 60 years of Progress!
Parade Route: Down Marydale, then Binkley St, Judges’ Stand/MC will be at the Soldotna Library. The Parade ends and disperses on Shady Lane (next to the KP Borough building)

Special Guests – Delegates from our Sister City – Akita, Japan and a performance of the Japanese traditional festival practice of Kantō (lantern poles)

• 11 am – 5 pm: Vendor & Food Booths Open at Soldotna Creek Park
Live Music – Food – Fun – Activities

• 10 am – 4 pm: Soldotna Senior Center – Craft Bazaar and Quilt Show

• 2pm & 6 pm: Soldotna Rodeos – Soldotna Rodeo Grounds on K-Beach

• 7 pm: Rock on the River Concert – ft. 36 Crazyfists with special guests, Thera and The Jephries. Tickets – $20. Purchase online at: http://bit.do/rockontheriver

• Noon – 5 pm: Vendor & Food Booths Open at Soldotna Creek Park
Live Music – Food – Fun – Activities

• City of Soldotna Free Community Picnic
The City will serve free hot dogs, chips and soda to the community. All are welcome!

• 2pm: Soldotna Rodeo – Soldotna Rodeo Grounds on K-Beach
