King Salmon (Chinook) — First Run: Mid May to July; Second Run: Mid July to July 31 (last day of season)
Red Salmon (Sockeye) — First Run: Late May to Early June; Second Run: Mid July to Early August
Silver Salmon (Coho) — Late July to November 1
Pink Salmon (Humpbacks) — Late July to Late August (Even Years Only)
Rainbow Trout — June 15 – October 31
Dolly Varden and Lake Trout — Entire Year

The Soldotna Visitor Center has current Sport Fishing Regulation books available for your convenience. A sportfishing license is required for all persons 16 years of age or older and must be in possession while sportfishing. Licenses are available from many local retail stores, such as Fred Meyer & Trustworthy Hardware, as well as from your fishing guide charter or online.
It is the anglers responsibility to follow any and all regulations. Please check regulation updates and Emergency Orders (EOs) daily for the most up-to-date information and restrictions.
