Community Scholarship Fair
Join us Saturday, November 11th at the Kenai Visitors Center from 10 am to 1 pm for the first annual Community Scholarship Fair. The Community Scholarship Fair is a coordinated, grass‐roots effort of local organizations created to educate students and families about the numerous scholarships and financial aid opportunities available to Soldotna and Kenai students. This event is free and open to the public.
The Community Scholarship Fair is for ALL students (high-schoolers, homeschoolers, current undergraduate and graduate students, and adult learners interested in enrolling in college or those already enrolled as CTE students or continuing their education) and any parents/guardians who want to learn more about financial aid opportunities. We invite all scholarship organizations both locally and statewide to maximize the opportunities for our community.
Our goal is to provide you with information about local and state scholarships to help you reach your scholarship potential. By gathering many state and local scholarship organizations, the event will prepare you for the spring season, when most of these scholarships become public to the community.
Expect organizations to inform you about their scholarship requirements and deadlines. Often, committee members who participate in the event are on the scholarship selection committee. This is your time to ask how to earn that scholarship!
