Lemonade Day
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Dozens of young area entrepreneurs will do just that Saturday, June 10th for the 11th Annual Lemonade Day on the Central Kenai Peninsula. Lemonade Day is a free community program dedicated to teaching children, pre-K through high school, how to start, own and operate their own business — a lemonade stand.
Those wanting to register a lemonade stand can still do so until 3 p.m. Friday, June 9th for a chance visit from our mascot, Lemon Head. Registration will be available soon.
On Lemonade Day, everyone has a job – either buying or selling lemonade. Soldotna & Kenai residents are encouraged to simply purchase a cup of lemonade from the youth participating in the program to demonstrate how our community cares for the future of youth in both of our communities.
A list of Official Lemonade Day stand locations registered through the Kenai and Soldotna Chambers of Commerce will be added soon. Sometimes, pop-up stands occur on the big day, so keep an eye out for those, too!
