Shop Local Passport Rules: How it works
● Promotion runs Friday, November 28th through Sunday, December 30th, 2025!
● Starting Black Friday (Nov. 28th), pick up a shopping Passport at any of the participating businesses and take it around town to get it stamped. Every business has promotions happening, and you can find business hours and promotions on our Facebook Page and below, beginning Nov. 24th @ 3 PM! This is a great opportunity to start your Holiday Shopping and support your local community of business owners.
● Bring your completed passports to the Soldotna Chamber by Thursday, December 4th at 5 pm to enter for the prize drawings (No purchase necessary to receive a stamp). Each completed passport is a chance to win local gift cards/ gift certificates to shop local (only one completed passport entry per person is allowed), including the grand prize of a $300 gift card/gift certificate to a Soldotna Chamber Member’s business of the winner’s choosing! (Subject to verification and eligibility)
● Winners will be contacted on Dec. 8th, 2025. Winners are announced first in person at Christmas in the Park in Soldotna Creek Park on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at 3 pm. Winners do not need to be present to win at Christmas in the Park. Prizes (gift cards/ gift certificates) will be available for pick up at Christmas in the Park, but then at the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce, M-F, 9-5 pm. Prizes not claimed by Dec. 22nd, 2015, will be forfeited and reclaimed by the Soldotna Chamber.
● The contest is open to people 18 or older and must be a legal resident of the state of Alaska. Gaming Permit #485
